These underground rumblings resonated around the world, as players responded in their thousands and established me as one of the most prominent independents on the scene. The media also marvelled at my methods and celebrated my work as an exciting new facet to the world's biggest and fastest growing art form. It's a responsibility I take very seriously - supplementing the games with a canon of insightful articles that aim to educate and inspire a new generation. Not least of which is my revealing autobiography, Inspiration For The Interactive Generation - the first of several books I have published in my new role as a writer and educator... The nature of my work has changed considerably since the turn of 2009, when I stopped developing heavyweight 3D games exclusively for the PC. I felt it was dying as a gaming platform and could no longer justify the extraordinary amount of work that went into each project. To preserve their legacy, the games I produced throughout that period have been made available to download for free - complete with source code that reveals their inner workings. What the games lack in market value, they now make up for in educational value. It is my hope that this site will become a unique resource for aspiring game designers who want to follow in my footsteps... Any new content takes the form of simple but effective Flash programs, which can be loaded up instantly by any device with Internet access. Although this signals a drastic drop in size and quality, I am excited about having a more accessible outlet for my creativity. Quite what the future holds for my work, even I cannot be sure of - but it'll be a lot of fun finding out!
